True Romance: Smart guy took some time to wise up
His smile wasn’t the first thing Nicole Sivie noticed about fellow dental student Jason Montgomery. It was how quickly he finished his test.
Meet Our Dentists
Jason L. Montgomery, DDS
A native of Amarillo, Dr. Jason Montgomery earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M (Dean’s List, All Academic Team) and then graduated from Baylor’s College of Dentistry. During his undergraduate years as an Aggie, he was a defensive member of the football team that played in two Cotton Bowls in 1993 and 1994.
After graduation, Dr. Montgomery worked as an associate in the office of his mentor Dr. Tom McDougal in one of the largest cosmetic dentistry offices in Dallas. Today, he is committed to providing the latest services to his patients, and in the past five years, he has taken over 500 hours of continuing education, focusing primarily on implants and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Montgomery was also recently selected by the Consumer’s Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists.” Additionally, he was elected by his peers to appear in the Texas Monthly Magazine issue featuring “Texas Superdentists.”
Dr. Montgomery is married to Nicole Sivie, DDS, and they are the proud parents of Reagan and Davis. A country music fan, he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and anything else occurring outdoors. Sunny, their Yellow Lab, accompanies the family whenever possible.
Committed to service in his community, Dr. Montgomery participates in Texas Dentists for Healthy Smiles, supports the Plano Senior High Booster Club, Texas Mission of Mercy Free Dental Clinic, and the Plano Education Foundation.
Family-oriented and service-centered, Dr. Jason Montgomery’s mission is to provide quality dental care for patients, as well as the best in modern dentistry with a small town Texas feel, for his hometown of Plano.
Nicole Sivie, DDS, FAGD
Dr. Nicole Sivie, the second of three children grew up in Richardson, Texas. After graduating from Berkner High School, Dr. Sivie studied chemistry at the University of Texas at Austin. Realizing that dentistry was her career of choice, Dr. Sivie was one of four students accepted to Baylor College of Dentistry after two and a half years of studies. With her interests in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Sivie was the only senior dental student taking additional continuing education classes, with practicing dentists, offered on weekends for Advanced Restorative Esthetics. She joined Dr. Williams after graduation in 1998, the two partnered in 2002 and have since grown their practice requiring two office moves in ten years.
Dr. Nicole Sivie has continued taking classes and varying her interests completing two certification levels in Invisalign orthodontics and is well on her way to becoming a premier provider. Her studies also focus around the teachings at the Seattle Dental Institute and fellowships in laser dentistry. Dr. Nicole is also involved locally in the dental community, being a member of the Dallas County Dental Society peer review committee for three years and completing the Dallas County Dental Society Leadership Continuum in 2007. She was an active member in the Junior League of Plano for 10 years and is currently a sustaining member. Dr. Sivie is also is involved with local charities as a donor to Texas Dentists for Healthy Smiles and as a participating doctor with her team in the Texas Mission of Mercy effort which provides free dental care to impoverished families around the state of Texas. Dr. Nicole has memberships with the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Dallas County Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. She has been named Texas Monthly Super Dentist for 2007 through 2015 and was also chosen as one of D Magazine’s Best Dentists by her peers for 2008, 2011, 2013 and 2015. She has completed her Fellowship requirements for the Academy of General Dentistry and was awarded the honor of FAGD (Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry) in June of 2012 in a ceremony in Philadelphia.
Dr. Nicole Sivie and her husband, Jason, have a 15 year old daughter and a 12 year old son!!! Sunny, the yellow labrador completes the family. Dr. Sivie has little spare time but divides it between her family, running and playing tennis. An accomplished marathoner and skydiver, she attempts golfing with her husband and they enjoy traveling with friends often.

Nellie
Business Assistant/Registered Dental AssistantWith over two decades of experience in dental offices and a certification in the use of nitrous oxide, Nellie is an expert at keeping people calm in the dental chair. With a humorous tone and a sympathetic ear, she loves to guide people on their oral health journeys. As a breast cancer survivor Nellie know the importance of a caring support team.
In her off-time Nellie experience the finer things in life, particularly when she has the opportunity for a quick trip to visit her friends and family back in the Rio Grande Valley.
Denise
Dental AssistantDenise has been working in the dental field for over three decades, during this time she has picked up advanced training in several areas: CPR, X-rays, nitrous oxide, OSHA, jurisprudence, infection control, & medical emergencies. Denise has also been a dental assisting instructor at the Dental Careers Assisting School for over two decades. It’s this experience and education that she loves to share with all her clients, as she helps them bring out their dazzling smiles.
When Denise isn’t busy at the office, she loves spending time with friends and family, or cheering her son on from the stands.
Celeste
Registered Dental HygienistThough California born, Celeste spent most of her childhood between Houston and Fort Worth. She found her passion in caring for patients after she graduated from Tarrant County College.
Celeste enjoys spending her leisure time indulging in music and art with her loving husband Michael and wire hair dachshund Rufus.
Susanna
Registered Dental HygienistSusanna is originally from Kansas City but moved to Dallas with her husband. She graduated from The University of Missouri Kansas-City with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. However, prior to graduation she attended The University of Kansas, and is still an enthusiastic Jayhawks fan! Susanna has been practicing Dental Hygiene for over a decade and loves helping patients attain excellent dental health by educating them in areas she feels will be beneficial to them.
Susanna loves fitness and attending (BMF) classes and generally a highly energy individual! She loves spending time with her two boys; Rafael, Shia, and her husband, Leo. Together they enjoy trying new experiences, visiting new places and finding adventure where they can!
Marcie
Front Office AdminMarcie was born in Mexico and moved to California at the age of 5 years old. She enjoys making patients feel comfortable and welcome. When you visit Marcie, you’ll always be greeted with a smile and feel like you’re part of the dental family.
In her spare time, Marcie loves painting, bird watching, going on motorcycle rides and hiking at the National Park. She and her husband have two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Courtney.
Nicole
Registered Dental AssistantA Dallas native, Nicole graduated from the ATI Career Training Center’s Dental Assisting Program. Her passion has been dentistry for the past 20 years, and she cannot imagine doing anything else. She enjoys educating her patients and seeing their reactions to their new smiles.
Nicole loves serving others and spending time with her two daughters, Ciara and Madison. When she isn’t attending Bible study, you can find Nicole trying small DIY projects and discovering new restaurants in the area.
Nina
Expanded Functions Dental AssistantNina grew up in Fort Worth and started dental assisting in 1986. Nina earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting degree from Harcum College in Philadelphia, PA. She moved back to Dallas and has been with the Lonestar Dental Group family for over 14 years. Every day, her goal is to be the best she can be and to advocate for a healthier smile for each patient.
Nina comes from a very close family and is the youngest of eleven siblings. She and her husband have two daughters and love spending time with their grandson.
Samantha
Registered Dental HygienistSamantha was raised in Waco and currently resides in Richardson, TX with her husband. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Texas A&M College of Dentistry and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and Texas Hygienists’ Association. Samantha loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and being their advocate in achieving better overall health.
When Samantha isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys riding her Peloton bike, practicing yoga and going on walks with her Brittany Spaniel, Sully. She plans to stay active with her first child, a baby boy due in early Fall.
Janell
Dental HygienistJanell was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas into a large and loving family. She has a love of learning, earning her 1st bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Science from Texas Christian University and following that up with another in Dental Hygiene from Baylor College of Dentistry, now known as Texas A&M College of Dentistry. Janell pulls on all this knowledge when she works with patients to formulate a custom care plan for their oral wellness goals.
When Janell isn’t chairside you can find her exploring local trails (weather permitting) or serving to improve the community with her church.
Donna
Registered Dental HygienistDonna grew up and raised her family in Oklahoma. In 1985, she graduated from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Donna moved to Frisco 7 years ago and is happy to call Texas home!
Donna has been a hygienist for over 37 years and likes that dentistry is constantly evolving. It requires her to adapt to change and learn the new advanced technology that is available in order to help educate and prevent dental disease. She loves being a caregiver and helping patients maintain good oral health.
Family is everything to Donna and she loves being a grandmother to her three grandchildren. Her husband and she have been married for more than 41 years, and they are both avid OU football fans. When she isn’t cheering on her favorite teams, Donna enjoys entertaining friends and family, gardening, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Rebekah
Registered Dental AssistantBorn and raised in central Texas, Rebekah graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Temple College and also holds a certificate in phlebotomy. Rebekah loves working at Lonestar Dental Group, particularly the connections she get to make with the people coming to office for oral care. “Being part of someone’s life is always a privilege”.
When not in the office Rebekah enjoys spending time with family in the great outdoors or trying out new recipes/ingredients whenever she can find them. Rebekah also loves to travel, whether thru work & leisure, she has had the opportunity to visit nearly twenty different countries.
Cynthia
Hygiene AssistantCynthia was born in Dallas, and represents Oak Cliff with pride. She has been bringing compassion and kindness to the dental field since earning her Registered Dental Assistant license from the Dallas Institute of Dental Assisting.
In her spare time Cynthia loves to experiencing the latest movie with her boyfriend or catching up with her daughter.
Cathy
Insurance CoordinatorCathy is from Lake Jackson, TX and enjoys helping patients afford the dental care that they deserve. She is passionate about getting to know each patient personally and supporting them hands-on. In addition, Cathy enjoys brightening up the office with her Florist expertise.
When Cathy isn’t singing or playing the guitar with her church family, she enjoys solving jigsaw puzzles, reading, and watching birds. She has been married to her wonderful husband for over 43 years and loves spending time with her family. Another passion of Cathy’s is rescuing bunnies. She has dedicated her time to raising rescued bunnies for over 30 years.
Janie
Front AdministratorAlthough Janie was raised in California, she was born in Texas and knew she wanted to move back to the Lone Star State. She has over 39 years of experience in the dental field and loves what she does. Her favorite part of her job is caring for patients and building relationships with them.
In her free time, Janie enjoys cooking, baking, and DIY crafts, as well as spending time with her daughter and two granddogs.
Kandace
Registered Dental HygienistKandace grew up in Wyoming and moved to Texas after earning her dental hygiene degree from Colorado Northwestern Community College. She loves meeting new people every day and spending time with her dental work family. Kandace focuses on building relationships with her patients and teaching them how to maintain healthy smiles with proper oral hygiene habits.
Kandace is always on the move and likes to stay active with her family and dog, Kiwi. When she isn’t serving patients, she enjoys running, fitness, and watching her two boys play sports.
